Typeface Designer Poster
This poster design celebrates the typeface designer Carol Twombly. She is the "first female typeface designer that won the Charles Peignot award from the Association Typographique International" (Oak Knoll, 2019). In addition, she designed many popular typefaces, such as Trajan, Myriad, and Caslon.

First Iteration
In this poster, I wanted to showcase the Viva typeface because of its unique design. The contrasting thick and thin stems makes the Viva typeface stand out. To accompany the typeface for the descriptions Carol Twombly's other typeface, Myriad Pro, suited the Viva typeface because of its similarities with the letters "a" and the roundness of the letter "o".
